FLORES DE MARIA

Celebrated in the month of May, this whole month novena is a devotion to the Blessed Mother held in every Barangay and participated by both children and adults, but especially by children.  A catechesis for children is held before the daily month-long novena.  Every Barangay has its own schedule.

For children who have not received their First Communion, a special catechetical class is held for this purpose in  the Cathedral for the duration of the month.  The First Communion is held on the 31st of May coinciding with the parish culmination of the Flores de Maria.  Please register at the Parish Office a week before May 1.

MES DE JUNIO

Celebrated in the month of June, this whole month daily novena is a devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus with the specific intention of the Sanctification of the Clergy of the Archdiocese of Jaro.  This is celebrated after the 6:30 AM mass on weekdays including Saturdays (except Sundays) with an exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and a Benediction at the end.

Please join us and pray for the sanctification of your bishops, priests and deacons.
